Not always. If you only want to write and run tests locally, a user license may be enough. If you want to execute tests automatically in your CI pipeline, you will also need a CI runner license.
Yes. You can start with a single user license and expand later as your team and automation coverage grow.
A user license is assigned to one named person working with Testudos, such as a tester, developer, or QA engineer. User licenses are transferable once per quarter.
A runner license is used to execute tests in automated environments such as CI pipelines or dedicated test machines. It is intended for running prepared tests, not for authoring or maintaining them.
